Hope y'all are doing well!

I am excited to announce that this Sunday (11/21), the ASUCD Pantry will be collaborating with Yolo Food Bank to distribute 600 meal kits to Davis residents! Starting at 9 AM, interested households can come to the UC Davis Parking Lot 2 (right by the Mondavi Center) and receive Holiday Meal Kits (containing a turkey and other classic Thanksgiving "fixings") via drive-through on a first-come, first-served basis.

The goal of this virtual workshop series is to empower trainees against sexual harassment in academia by understanding the scope of the problem, knowing about rights and possible action plans, and learning trauma-informed mental wellness strategies to promote advocacy for themselves or others. *not affiliated with Title IX or HDAPP

​Become a Summer 2021 Mentoring Fellow with the EDGE program!
The EDGE (Expanding Diversity and Gender Equity) in STEM Mentoring
Fellowship is designed to give historically underrepresented graduate students
training and experience in how to become an excellent mentor to
undergraduate students who identify as under-represented in Science
Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. The summer program
will be conducted remotely from June 14th to August 20th using online
platforms including Zoom and the epixego.com mentoring web app.
Program participation includes:
 Training in how to maintain healthy mentor relationships and be an
effective mentor and mentee
 Mentoring undergraduate students who share the same interests, skills and
experiences
 Learning how to foster valuable mentoring relationships centered on
shared values
 A 20-hour commitment over summer 2021
 A $925 fellowship award

The PAB was established as a pilot project in 2014 to develop and promote
accountability, trust, and communication between the campus community
and the UC Davis Police Department. The PAB is comprised of representatives
from the major constituent groups on campus, including the Graduate Student
Association. The nominees to this position should be individuals who can review
investigations periodically throughout the year regarding police conduct in an
objective manner and reach conclusions based on information presented in
the factual record.
