We want to introduce you to our new Antiracist Research Network (ARN) doctoral student organization, which seeks to support historically underserved graduate students. We are reaching out to invite doctoral students to join and become a member of our organization. Attached you can find our one-pager summarizing our organization's vision, mission, and objectives. Essentially, we are interested in creating a community of support where we share the knowledge/information we've acquired navigating through our doctoral journeys to support other historically underserved doctoral students in their journey. Our purpose is to create a system of support where we can collaborate to gather the experiences we need to strongly compete in the labor market. Our hope is that the ARN activities, programming, and events support students’ professional development and progress towards your doctoral degree.
If you are interested in being a member, please review the membership commitments and fill out the following member intake form here. Once we receive your membership intake, we will follow up with more information and details. ARN meetings will be carried out through Zoom beginning Fall Quarter 2021. The Antiracists Research Network looks forward to reviewing your member intake and being in community with you! Please do not hesitate to email us with any of your questions ([email protected]). Again, we hope you’ll consider joining our community, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
